A) Candelo Rest Area – Located in the heart of Candelo. A pretty little overnight stay – 8 campsites.
(B) Bodalla Forest Park Rest Area – 9km North of Narooma just off the Princess hwy – Secluded well off the road in the forest, great for an overnight stay. – 10+ campsites
(C) Hobart Beach– 18-minute drive south of Bega, along the Tathra rd. Popular and established campground on the edge of Wallagoot Lake, with hot showers, suitable for caravans. Perfect if you have young kids and love swimming in the shallow waters. Fees do apply. 66 campsites
(D) Mystery Bay – 11kms south of Narooma – along with the Princess Hwy. A Beautiful campsite on the shores of Mystery Bay. Well established and ideal for those who love the bush/camping experience. Fees apply – 40+ Campsites
(E) Lake Creek Camping Area, Wadbilliga National Park – 53 min drive northeast of Cobargo, via Yowie and Burkes rd – One of the South Coast most secluded camping grounds. Set amongst the rugged wilderness with the state’s largest untouched river catchments. Refreshing swimming in the lake. No caravans or camper trailers. You can camp at Lake Creek or The Cascades There are a total of 15 campsites.
(F) Cascades, Wadbilliga National Park – 53 min drive northeast of Cobargo, via Yowie and Burkes rd Recently upgraded with the new toilet block, new picnic table, new fire ring. Secluded in the heart of Australian bush, great swimming Tuross River under the waterfall within the Wadbilliga National Park – 10 campsites
(G) Aragunna Camp Grounds, Mimosa National Park – Accessed along Aragunnu Rd off the Bermagui–Tathra Rd, about 25 km south of Bermagui. The campsite is approx. 3kms down the road. A stunning 500-metre long beach, at the forefront of the Aragunna campsite, makes this one of the most stunning camping grounds in all of South Coast of NSW. Fees apply. 50+ campsites.
(H) Gillards Campsite, Mimosa National Park – off the Tathra-Bermagui road onto Gillards Road, about 5km south of Tanja and 9km north of Tathra. The Southern part of Mimosa Rocks National Park. Situated between the bush and the beach, the site is ideal for fishermen, bushwalkers, bird lovers, and those just seeking to get away from the big city. 70+ campsites.
(I) Middle Beach, Mimosa National Park – About 25 minutes south of Bermagui. Follow the Tathra-Bermagui Road and turn onto Haighs Road, just north of Tanja, look for Middle Beach Road. Great fishing spots, just 50 metres from the Middle Beach. Great access to bushwalking tracks. 12 campsites
(J) Picnic Point, Mimosa National Park – 30 minutes south of Bermagui. From Bermagui, head to the Tathra – Bermagui Road. Take a left at the Wapengo Lake Road. The road leading to Picnic Point is a private road. f you love the sea, surf, fishing and bushwalks then Picnic Point camping grounds is a perfect choice. 18 sites
(K) Postman’s Campground, South East Forests National Park – 32 minutes drive east of Candelo via Slaters Ln and Tantawangalo Mountain Rd
Located on Postman’s Track along the majestic Tantawangala Creek – 4WD access only and no caravans. Beautiful swimming hole makes for a lovely spot for those who love seclusions of the bush. 6 campsites on a bend in the Tantawangalo Creek
(L) Six Mile Creek – South East Forests National Park – From Bega, drive south along the Princes Highway and turn right onto Bega Candelo Road. After about 9km you’ll reach Candelo – cross the bridge, turn left and then turn right into Tantawangalo Mountain Road. The perfect location for those looking for seclusion amongst the dense Australian forest – 4 campsites available. .
(M) Waratah Gully – South East Forests National Park – about 1hr and 57-minute drive east of Eden. Along the Darragh Rd.
(N) Bittangabee Campsite– At the southern end of the Ben Boyd National Park
Travel south from Eden on the Princes Highway for 18km, Turn off at Edrom Road and follow it for 6km Turn right onto Green Cape Road and follow it for 15km. The perfect bush/beach camping experience. A fee of $20 applies. 40+ Campsites
(O) Saltwater Creek Campsite – 18km south of Eden. After 6km, turn right into Green Cape Road and drive for approximately 8km. Turn left into Duckhole Road and drive for 4km, then turn right into Saltwater Creek Road for another 4km. The pristine beach is located next to the site and there are numerous fishing locations. 40+ Campsites
(P) Scrubby Creek Forest Rest Area – Located in the East Boyd State Forest about 15 minutes south of Eden, take the Wonbyn rd of the Princess Hwy – A comfortable overnight stop with basic facilities – Trucks going along the highway can make it very noisy and the site is exposed to highways. There are wood fireplaces with swing over hot plates (bring your own wood), basic toilets and picnic tables. Just an overnight stay 10 campsites

Woodenbong has its own camping grounds which offers an economical holiday with powered sites available, toilet and shower & disabled facilities, sheltered seating area and kitchen facilities. Coin Operated Laundry.

Woodenbong Camping Grounds are located on the edge of Woodenbong Village on Unumgar Street [Mt Lindesay Road] (adjacent to the swimming pool, outdoor gym, skate park, half basketball court and alongside Lindsay Creek)
$5 per site per night or $10 power sites. Suits vans & tents or Motor Homes. Pet Friendly (with conditions. Please refer to rules below). Free to use Electric BBQ’s, Shelters and Amenities, Hot Showers $1. including Disabled Amenities. Free Grey Water Dump Point.
Coin Operated Laundry $5 per wash load $5 per dryer load. A clothes line is available for shared use.
A donation box is on site. A $20 deposit is required when keys to amenities are obtained which is fully refundable when keys are returned. It is requested that you please pay in advance.

By following some basic rules and requests we hope we can make it a pleasant stay for you and in turn allow the volunteers to keep the grounds in an appropriate condition for your comfort, and the comfort of others.
This camping ground area is maintained by the residents of Woodenbong on a voluntary basis and overseen by the Woodenbong Progress Association and your understanding and patience is appreciated.

FOR THE COMFORT OF EVERYONE WE HAVE THE FOLLOWING
RULES:
- Please respect the privacy of other campers.
- Noise must be kept to a minimum after 9pm and absolutely no noise after midnight.
- Pets are welcome but must be kept under control at all times. Dogs must be on leads or on tethers at sites. Owners MUST pick up and clean up after your pets. This is important for everyone’s health and comfort. If complaints are received or non compliance to rules you will be asked to leave after one warning. Dangerous, Menacing or Restricted Dogs (NSW) not allowed.
- Please keep your site clean at all times and double check on departure.
- Children must be kept under supervision at all times and especially in the showers, laundry and amenities block.
- Please remember we are in a low rainfall area and you are asked to conserve the use of rain water from the tank.
- No fires are allowed in the open and must be in the area provided or a commercial fire place you have brought yourself or borrowed from the camp site monitor. You are also asked to respect the fire risks and obey total fire bans.
- The free BBQ’s are supplied for your convenience but it is essential you clean the BBQ plates after each use.
- 15amp certified heavy duty power leads are to be used and no dangerous joined leads are to be used.
- Grey water Dump Point available Free.
- No hoses carrying grey water from your van to be run off onto the grounds. Grey water must be emptied into the grey water dump or a bucket is to be used and manually emptied to waste water point or into dump. This is a health issue and must be obeyed.
- It is essential to evacuate should you be advised during a flood or emergency.
- BE ADVISED: the NSW legal limit of stay in a Primitive Camping Grounds is 50 days per 12 month period. Please obey move on order if issued.
- BE ADVISED: the NSW regulation 65.1(e) Unoccupied caravans, campervans and tents are not to be allowed to remain in the camping ground for more than 24 hours.
